Esta es la historia de Cesar, un joven diagnosticado con Asperger, que veía pasar su vida entre ver la televisión y ayudar a su madre Miriam en una pequeña papelería que tienen en su morada. Culmino sus estudios hace algunos meses como la mayoría de los jóvenes de su edad. En el colegio gano un concurso de ortografía que lo patrocinó el periódico El Tiempo; después de esa motivación, él quería seguir avanzando, pero algunas de las instituciones que trabajan con población de discapacidad cognitiva tienen una restricción con respecto a la edad. En cuanto a las oportunidades laborales se notaba la discriminación, pero así como Cesar, esta es una realidad que viven más de 16 mil personas en la localidad de Suba.

Después de buscar arduas soluciones, se encontraron con FUNDEI, una fundación sin ánimo de lucro que desde hace cuatro años se dedica a acompañar en el proceso de opciones laborales y de emprendimiento a jóvenes y madres cuidadoras. Miriam y su hijo afirman que les cambio la vida por completo. Ella se convirtió en una de las 25 madres que inicio su proceso de emprendimiento y lo culmino satisfactoriamente. En la actualidad vende en su papelería todo lo aprendido en su clase de pirograbado, esto fue motivo de inspiración para Cesar y su propósito de vida.

Cesar consiguió una oferta laboral a través de FUNDEI en una empresa de seguridad en el área de logística, en donde afirma que: “reviso uniformes de los vigilantes y boto en la basura las camisas y pantalones rotos, ayudo en administración y archivo. Me tratan muy bien y estoy muy contento, quisiera seguir hasta el final”. Él también hace parte de uno de los cinco jóvenes con su propia idea de negocio de emprendimiento, su empresa se llama bolsas T, y consiste en la fabricación de bolsas con material quirúrgico para todo tipo de ocasión. Él afirma que: “Solo faltan ultimar algunos detalles, pero la idea ya está casi lista para ponerla en marcha”.   Su más grande anhelo es seguir estudiando en la universidad y convertirse en bibliotecario para poder aportar a su familia. Este sueño va acompañado de su hobby tecnológico, ser YouTuber; él tiene un amigo de la infancia que le enseña a editar videos, hacer entrevistas etc. En su canal de YouTube, hace la recopilación de historias de vida de sus compañeros de trabajo, esto es publicado en redes sociales puesto que tiene una gran afinidad con ellas. Él sigue asistiendo a sus clases en la fundación y anima a todos sus compañeros a seguir adelante y jamás rendirse, que apoyen mucho a sus madres y que se motiven a tener una idea de negocio ya que de ahí se empieza todo.
